This is a website on handwriting printouts. I personally believe that handwriting helps some kids learn how to read. It teaches them that letters don't just make sounds. That you can put letters together to make words. When children do learn that the letters make words, it helps encourage them to read on there own. The worksheet I added below is an example of how the letters teach children to read.

Also know that not many children are being taught cursive writing anymore. Do we know why that is and how that impacts kids?
I heard that somewhere not to long ago. I think that writing in cursive helps improve there handwritting. I'm not really sure what impact it would have for kids. Hum...
@Bhigginsdover. I absolutely am astonished that cursive writing has been slowly disappearing. What is going on in this world? How are these young kids going to be able to sign an application, a contract, etc. Just crazy!
